How it works

1. Find your link. Open the app and tap Share your referral link on your home screen (or go to Settings → Referral Info). Your link and a QR code are there — copy it, share it, or let someone scan it.
2. Share it. Text it, post it, put the QR code on a job site. There is no limit on how many neighbours you can share it with.
3. You both get $5. The credit lands on both accounts as soon as your neighbour creates theirs through your link. No waiting for them to rent something first.

What the credit is

Rental credit, held as Next-Door Rental reward points. 100 points = $1, so $5 is 500 points. It is applied automatically at checkout against what you owe on a rental. Your balance is in the app under Settings → Reward Points.

Credit is promotional. It has no cash value, it cannot be withdrawn, and it is not paid out to a bank account.

The short terms

• Who can refer: any member with an active account.
• When the credit is issued: both sides, when the referred neighbour creates an account through your link.
• Once per neighbour. A referral pays once. Someone who already had a Next-Door Rental account is not a new referral.
• No self-referrals. Referring yourself does not qualify, and neither do two accounts sharing an email address. Both are checked automatically.
• Monthly limit. You can earn the referrer reward for up to 10 referrals per calendar month (that’s up to $50 a month; months are counted in UTC). Your neighbour still gets their $5 either way.
• Credit is promotional, has no cash value, and may expire.
• We may investigate suspected abuse and remove accounts and any unspent credit earned through them.
• Don’t spam it. No unsolicited bulk email, no bidding on Next-Door Rental brand terms in paid search, no coupon or discount-code sites.
• We can change or end the program at any time. Credit already spent on a completed rental stays spent.

Terms last updated: September 26, 2026. Reward amounts and the monthly limit are set in the app and shown on your Referral Info page; if the two ever differ, the app is right.
